Walter Hill, Jr.

President and CEO

Walter Hill is a results-oriented leader with over 35 years of experience in brand promotion and licensed products. Building on his early career in branded, promotional and licensed products, Mr. Hill leveraged his professional development and created Icon Blue, Inc. in 1998.  Well regarded as an expert in his field, he has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and a variety of other national publications.  His television appearances include Good Morning America, Good Morning Virginia, and Person-to-Person.  Mr. Hill has evolved the category of brand promotions to problem-solving solutions that provide greater value and return on investment to clients throughout the United States.

In 2010, Mr. Hill expanded the scope of services offered by Icon Blue to include the most comprehensive brand compliance solutions in the industry.  Icon Blue can help to prevent counterfeit knock-offs and increase brand loyalty with new initiatives in brand control, brand protection, and consumer engagement.

Under his leadership, Icon Blue has received the Star Supplier and Supplier of the Year honors from several Fortune 1000 Companies such as American Honda Motors, Hilton Hotels, and Macy's for eight consecutive years.

Mr. Hill currently serves on the board of the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce and The Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA.  He is a member of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and is active in other philanthropy involving children.

 

 

 

Bonnie G. Hill, Ed.D.

Co-Founder

Bonnie Hill has a wide-ranging career in business, government, education, and philanthropy. Her experience includes over 20 years' in corporate governance serving on a number of corporate boards that currently includes:

The Home Depot, Yum Brands, AK Steel and California Water Service Group. She was recognized by the NACD Directorship as one of America's most influential people in Corporate Governance in 2010 and as a 2011 Outstanding Director by the Financial Times' Outstanding Director Exchange.

Ms. Hill served as president and CEO of The Times Mirror Foundation and Senior Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs at the Los Angeles Times. Her other experience includes serving as Dean of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, and presidential appointments in the Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush administrations. She has a Doctorate of Education from the University of California at Berkeley, and numerous awards and recognitions.
